The Summer of 2015 is winding down, and The Panthers are all creeping off from the beaches, shaking the sand out of their fur, and gathering inside Panther’s Lair where it’s air-conditioned. Expect the usual “two (or three) guys bullshitting” humor you’ve come to love and miss, plus some Very Big Book Announcements.

Mike has a new book of comic essays entitled Rules For Dating My Daughter that he would love if you could help fund.

Rules-600

Alex’s new book from Top Shelf, Our Expanding Universe is due to drop in November!

Universe-600

And, The Desert Panther, Tony Consiglio, also has a brand new omnibus of all of his Double-Cross comics available somewhere on amazon, but not yet publicly. Look out for it, it’s called Tony Consiglio’s Double-Cross Collection, so you know what you’re getting!

See you in the Winter.

It’s almost Thanksgiving (the grimmest of all National Holidays) and Gags and Tiger Bear take a break from Turkey Hunting, and creep back into the frosty Lair to catch up and discuss some very important topics. Hear about what’s been going on comics-wise with the guys, and then fan-favorite Tony Consiglio comes in from the cold to talk about sperm (what else?).

Happy Summer everybody!! Gags and Tiger Bear take a break from sunning themselves on the beach, and creep back into the steamy humid Lair to catch up and discuss some very important topics. Mostly we complain about The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, agree that the best Godzilla movie is Cloverfield, and then fan-favorite Tony Consiglio makes an appearance!

Picking up from where last episode left off, we recorded the Cartoonist’s Brunch event from this past Sunday, with John Kerschbaum, me, and Alex at Bergen Street Comics. I thought the afternoon was fantastic. I can’t get over how many people showed up. Thanks to everyone who did, I hope you enjoyed the conversation, and also took advantage of the complimentary mimosas and muffins. Sadly, I must report, I was not able to drink enough mimosas to cause me to black out, despite all my best efforts.

It’s the sexy sixth episode, and it’s super-sized! In this 40-minute bonanza, Mike and Alex spend a lot of time debating the definition of a novelty song, discussing the demise of trivia-related dinner conversation, and catching-up on domestic concerns: this time it’s all about installing air-conditioners. Also, there’s actually a little comics talk in there too.
